Races will be held on Saturdays, with the next open Saturday as the rain date.
Race start times and Driver Meeting times will announced via the website. Practice will follow drivers meeting.
All drivers must complete an information sheet and waiver release form before racing. (Parents must also sign for minors.)
COMPETITION RULES
All drivers are required to wear a full face helmet, neck brace, racing gloves, long sleeve shirt, long pants and closed toe shoes while driving. No shorts allowed. We encourage the use of chest protectors, however they are not mandatory.
All motors must be 5hp with stock appearing carburetors. All karts must have full bodies and full rear bumper. Open tire rule, as long as it is slick. No grooved tires. Mufflers and baffles are MANDATORY on all karts.
Restarts will be single file, in line off turn four. Kart on the pole sets the pace and everyone else is expected to keep pace WITHOUT BUMPING AND PUSHING. Repeat offenses after one warning will result in being put to the rear.
Once a kart leaves the track, it cannot return to race for that event.
No working on kart while on the track. Two attempts to start kart will be given and if engine does not start you will go to pits or infield.
No work can be done under red flag.
Any racer, whether minor or adult, is responsible for the conduct of their crew at all times. We will suspend or ban crew members and/or drivers at our discretion.
Any drivers found to be under the influence of alcohol or any other substance will be banned forever. We will not be responsible for their actions.
THREE SPINOUT RULE! After third spinout, driver will be sent to the infield.
Only 1 warning will be given for motor choking out under CAUTION. After 1 warning, driver will be sent to the rear.
SAFETY
Intentional beating and banging will not be tolerated. Remember, we are racing for fun not to get anyone hurt.
Anyone in attendance will be responsible for their own actions on the property. We will not be held responsible for the results of their actions.
There is no insurance. Anyone who races or attends must understand that they are doing so at their own risk.
